I just wanted to say what a fantastic Nursing Conference held today, great from start to finish.

So well organised and the catering was spot on, having all the rep stands with so much to offer was so appreciated. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the event and chatting to each other. It makes a change from the times we never get to leave our rooms and see colleagues.

Dan was without doubt the best compare I’ve ever seen at this type of event, particularly the way he opened the meeting with a song! He was brilliant throughout the day with all that took part. Rob Hosking was a fabulous motivational speaker, he had all the emotions that we tackle within both our workplace and home.  In fact all the speakers were well chosen making it a fantastic day.

I am so proud to receive my 40 years NHS service award, I sincerely I hope to be still working to receive the 50-year award!

Yet again thank you to everyone who made the day special.

Following the email you sent in January 2025, I applied to NHS England for the funding (not really expecting that a little practice nurse from Lincolnshire would get it!) but my application was successful, and in April last year I started my 12-month Post Graduate diabetes course. Yesterday, I received the good news that I passed my final assessment and have successfully completed the course!  I’ve now earned the PGCert (diabetes).

Without LTH sending out the initial email, I wouldn’t have known that this funding existed, and would not have been able to undertake the course, without having it funded for me.

My experience with the Lincolnshire training hub- I had a placement with themselves towards the end of my 2nd year of my nursing degree.
I primarily worked with Kasia, Sandra, Stacey, and Helen. It was the best placement I have ever had!
I was supported all the way through, given guidance and advice on my future career path and made some new friends.
I’d recommend the Lincolnshire Training Hub to anyone looking to further their knowledge within the healthcare industry.

I must also pay a huge tribute to the Lincolnshire Training Hub. You could not wish for a more inspirational group of GPNs, Nursing Associates and Programme Management Team members who every day set the bar higher.

Lisa has been an amazing support to myself ever since I qualified and I’d still be lost without her. What Lisa doesn’t know [about training] isn’t worth knowing!

Hannah has been a tremendous support during my time as a new Practice Nurse. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness, patience, and excellent leadership.

With all the amazing contributions you guys are making at the Training Hub that have been so helpful for all of us working as allied health professionals in Lincolnshire, this [hosting physiotherapy students] is the least we could do to contribute and give back from our end for developing a trained workforce.

Our FCPs would like to pass on some really good feedback regarding the training and support they are getting from LTH. They made special mention of Ruth and how proactive she is.

We work really closely with the training hub to organise placements in primary care and also work together on placement expansion projects. They are such an invaluable team and are absolutely wonderful in terms of opening doors to work more effectively with practices.
