Support Learners in Primary Care – Supervisors Wanted
Are you a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist interested in occasional, flexible supervision work?
We’re looking for healthcare professionals to support student placements in GP practices and community venues across Lincolnshire. This is not a permanent role but an ad-hoc opportunity, with supervision sessions available as and when placements take place throughout the year.
About the Placement
Learners will gain practical experience in areas such as NHS Health Checks and Quality Improvement activities like the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QoF).
Your Role as a Supervisor
Supervisors play a key role in mentoring learners in real clinical settings. You can commit to one or two sessions per week (9am–3pm approx), depending on your availability. Sessions are offered based on placement scheduling and location.
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Registered with the NMC, HCPC, or GPhC
- Passionate about education and developing others
- Interested in occasional supervision opportunities
- Able to support students in a primary care setting
- SSSA-trained (desirable but not essential)
What You’ll Receive
- Sessional pay up to £40/hour (depending on experience)
- Flexible, non-permanent work arranged around placements
- A chance to contribute to the development of future healthcare professionals
- Local travel may be required
