Career Development is a flexible programme designed to progress the career of Practice Nurses and Nursing Associates within the first 5 years of working in General Practice. The focus of the programme is building on the skills already started in their career such as in mentoring, education and exploring portfolio careers.

Summary:

• A 12month support programme for Nurses or Nursing Associates within the first 5 years of working in General Practice
• Training funding and focus on portfolio career development, mentoring and education
• Individual mentoring from Career Development Mentors
• Funded protected learning time
