Building on success in Lincolnshire ICS to improve heart failure outcomes

Building on success in Lincolnshire ICS to improve heart failure outcomes – organised and funded by Roche Diagnostics.

Date: Wednesday 9 February 2022, 10:00 – 12:30 (virtual via Zoom)

This is a virtual workshop looking at how to improve outcomes for people with heart failure in Lincolnshire ICS. It will be chaired by Mike Burrows, National AHSN Coordination Director, who will help facilitate a discussion on accelerating early diagnosis in line with the ambitions of the NHS Long-Term Plan and the chronic heart failure NICE guideline. Presentations will also be made by Dr Jim Moore, GP and President of the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society and Nick Hartshorne-Evans, CEO of heart failure charity the Pumping Marvellous Foundation. Attendees will also include a heart failure patient and clinical leads from across primary and secondary care.

In November, we brought together clinicians from across the Humber, Coast and Vale ICS to share insights, and 100% of the attendees said they learned something new and would recommend the workshop to a colleague. We therefore hope you will join us on Wednesday 9 February at 10:00 to share your experience and discuss best practice.
