The charity Doctors in Distress, https://doctors-in-distress.org.uk/ this year has secured funding for several free programmes for front-line staff.

The first of these to launch is the Growth after Greif group, an online bereavement support group for the families and colleagues of nurses who have taken their own lives. The current suicide rate of nurses in the UK is 1 every 3 days. The charity is working in conjunction with Dr Emma Wadey Head of Mental Health Nursing at NHS England, to deliver this and the group will also be professionally evaluated and the results will be published.
