AWARD NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!
It’s time to submit your nominations for our 2024 Nursing and HCA Awards Ceremony taking place as part of the Lincolnshire General Practice Nursing and HCA Conference. If you have a colleague who goes the extra mile, please do take a couple of minutes to nominate them for an award in one of the categories below. We have some great prizes and trophies up for grabs!
The closing Date for nominations is Friday 22nd March 2024.
1. Clinical Educator of the Year Award
This award will be presented to an individual who has demonstrated educational excellence in their capacity as supervisor, assessor or mentor. The winner will have shown a clear commitment to ensuring that the students, apprentices or other learners are given the best possible support and guidance in their learning journey, as well as relevant practical experience to help maximise their skills and competencies.
2. Good Practice Award
This award will be presented to an individual or team that has successfully implemented an innovative project or initiative in their practice or PCN. The project or initiative could be either clinical or non-clinical in nature. The winner(s) will have demonstrated clear motivation to improve patient care, services and/or workforce development/ management. Nominations must be submitted in the form of a poster to firstname.lastname@example.org with winners selected on the day of the conference by conference delegates.
3. Greener Practice Award
This award will be presented to an individual or team that has successfully introduced measures within their practice or PCN to lower their carbon footprint, improve sustainability and/or reduce waste. The measures introduced will show tangible results and benefits in terms of reducing environmental impact within Primary Care.
4. Nursing Team of the Year Award
This award will be presented to a team that has demonstrated cohesive, integrated working with measurable results. The winners will have shown forward-thinking practice and understanding of the impact of a positive team culture on services and patient care.
5. Rising Star Award
This award will be presented to an ANP, GPN, NA, NAA or HCA who is making excellent progress on their chosen career pathway. The winner will show a consistent commitment to enhancing their skills and competencies and to furthering their learning journey, as well as clear motivation to deliver excellent patient care.
