Introducing the Shiny Mind app

The ShinyMind app is a uniquely interactive tool designed specifically for NHS staff that improves wellbeing, resilience and teamwork. It’s proven to help reduce the stress and anxiety of everyday life, leaving people feel happier and more productive. The app’s foundation is built on a blend of science and research carried out by leadership psychotherapists into what makes people feel better, their teams work better and ultimately sees organisations perform better.

Lincolnshire Training Hub is funding access to this very highly recommended app for ALL primary care staff across Lincolnshire. We hope that this wellbeing app will benefit as many people working in primary care across Lincolnshire as possible.

NHS Self-Check Tool

It’s important to ensure our health and social care colleagues are looking after themselves and get timely support should they need it, this in turn can help to support better patient care and help prevent staff sickness. The free and confidential self-check tool can provide you with further information on the range of support offers that are available and help you to identify which option is the right one for you to access. Alongside Health and Wellbeing Conversations and other means of support, the self-check tool is now available at the following link:

Live Life to the Full

Lots of people struggle at times in life. Living Life to the Full teaches a range of life skills that are based on the tried and trusted CBT approach, aiming to improve wellbeing and resilience as you go through the journey of life.

What do the courses offer?

Each course offers free modules including worksheets to print off and use and linked books to read. It covers lots of self-help topics from ‘understanding your feelings’ and ‘doing things to hep you feel better’  to stop smoking, getting better sleep, to relationships and dealing with grief and much more.

Recovery College Online provide a range of online educational courses and resources to people who might be struggling with mental health issues, families, friends, mental health workers and anyone else who might be interested in learning more about mental health and wellbeing.
Navigate your way around the site by using the menu or search bar. Information pages have been co-produced by people who have real life experience of each topic. You will also find external site links, published documents and information about support groups which may be of use to you.

You can complete online courses covering a variety of mental health and wellbeing topics for free via the link below. You can also create an account and complete the courses in your own time, at your own pace.
