Becca Gibbon

Workforce Transformation GP Lead

I’m Becca and work as a portfolio GP. I have a range of interests in medicine; which has led me to take up a range of roles! I am a GP Partner as a Practice in Lincolnshire. Additionally, one day a week, I work for LIVES; supporting East Midlands Ambulance Service with patients who call 999. This work can involve a range of areas including assisting with trauma cases, end of life care to supporting patients with alternatives to admission to hospital. Another day a week, I work for Lincolnshire Training Hub as a Workforce Transformation GP Lead.

I grew up in Yorkshire and moved to London for undergraduate training at Imperial College. After qualification, I gradually moved northwards after via Northampton and Leicester, and I undertook GP Training in Lincolnshire. I enjoyed a slight detour in the middle via New Zealand, where I worked in Emergency Medicine. My interest in education and training has led me to complete a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical Education and become involved with Lincolnshire Training Hub.

Outside of medicine, I am a keen runner and keep busy with my children and partner and a young dog!
