Sudhakar Sambhangi

GP Mentor

I am Sudhakar Sambhangi (Dr Sam). I have been living and working in Lincolnshire since 2002 when I first joined at Lincoln County hospital and completed my surgical training. Later I joined the GP VTS training scheme in Lincoln in 2006 and qualified as a GP in 2009. I am currently a GP partner at a practice in Lincolnshire, Training Programme Director for Lincoln GP ST training, GP trainer, GP mentor and GP appraiser. I am also a GP educator for medical students and F2 doctors who are placed at my practice.

I am excited to be part of the LTH team and to be involved in the Fellowship mentoring program. I enjoy supervising and mentoring medical students, F2 doctors and GP registrars and I am pleased to have the opportunity to help guide colleagues through some of the challenges and stresses that general practice can present.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and cooking. I love running and biking. I regularly take part in charity triathlons.
