I’m Hannah Daniel, Lead Nurse and I work as a trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner. I am currently completing an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice at the University of Lincoln.

I graduated as a Nurse from the University of Nottingham with an MNursSci in July 2017. Upon graduating I wanted to enter general practice but found it difficult to get my foot in the door. There were very few jobs advertised and all wanted experience. To aid my applications, I worked as an administrator within a practice whilst completing my final year at university. Fortunately, an opportunity arose to become a General Practice Nurse Fellow – a role created by Health Education England to bring nurses without experience into general practice – which I started in August 2017.

Since starting work in general practice, I have completed a PGCert in Practice Nursing at De Montfort University as well as several chronic disease modules. I progressed to complete my non-medical prescribing to support my chronic disease management. In 2022, I completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my 2 children, husband and dog. We love long country walks and exploring the outdoors.
