Hannah Daniel

Lead Nurse

I am a Practice Nurse working with Lincolnshire Training Hub and Horncastle Medical Group.

I graduated from the University of Nottingham with an MNursSci in July 2017. Upon graduating I wanted to enter general practice but found it difficult to get my foot in the door.

I started as a General Practice Nurse Fellow – a role created by Health Education England to bring nurses without experience into general practice.

Since starting work in general practice, I have completed a PGCert in Practice Nursing at De Montfort University and continued to complete long-term condition courses mainly asthma and COPD. Since the long-term condition courses, I have progressed to non-medical prescribing.

Within my role with the Training Hub, I started out and still enjoy assisting others to enter general practice in the hopes they have an easier route in than myself! In addition, I lead on a variety of projects which can be seen on the Lincolnshire Training Hub website and support practice nurses and other general practice staff throughout their careers.
