Hello, I am Sarah Parkin and my role within the Training Hub involves supporting both the financial and HR functions.

I have lived in Lincolnshire all my life and began my NHS career in 1996 following maternity leave. I initially joined my local GP surgery in Scotter in a Reception and Administrative role, and I have seen first-hand how General Practice has evolved over the years.
In 2009, I moved to Lincoln to take up a Practice Manager role at The Witham Practice, before joining Abbey Medical Practice in 2011. I have been involved with the Training Hub since its early beginnings in 2015, when it started as a much smaller initiative developed alongside colleagues at Abbey. Since then, I have supported its growth and development and have witnessed the significant benefits the Training Hub has brought to General Practice.

I now work three days a week solely with the Training Hub.

of work, I enjoy spending time with my granddaughters, as well as music, dining out, travelling, and making the most of sunny weather.
