Hi, I am Steven the AHP ambassador, I am a Lead Advanced Clinical Practitioner and independent prescriber working in general practice in rural Lincolnshire. I started my career as a paramedic in 2014 and have since developed my career in primary care, progressing into advanced clinical practice and clinical leadership.
I’m passionate about supporting AHPs to develop their careers and enjoy mentoring and supporting colleagues, particularly paramedics who are looking to explore new opportunities and develop their skills. I’m also interested in research and how digital technology can be used to improve healthcare in general practice. I’ve recently started a part-time, NIHR-funded PhD alongside my clinical role.
Outside of work, I enjoy baking, particularly trying out new recipes and making cakes for family and friends.
