DiSC® team profile

Deepen your understanding of yourself and others. Midlands Leadership Academy are supporting the use of the DiSC® tool to support the development of teams. The Everything DiSC® model provides a common language people can use to better understand themselves and those they interact with—and then use this knowledge to reduce conflict and improve working relationships.

Leadership Learning Zone

The Leadership Learning Zone (LLZ) has been developed in the Midlands to provide organisations and individuals with a tool that will enable learning, enhance understanding and embed vital skills and knowledge that will contribute to the physical and psychological well-being of our people. This can be accessed free of charge by all NHS staff via the following link: www.leadershipnhs.uk. LLZ features a suite of 22 leadership learning modules.

NEW! Systems and Relational Leadership modules on Leadership Learning Zone. The South West Leadership Learning Academy has developed ten Systems and Relational leadership modules in partnership with Tricordant. The resources are for leaders in health and care looking to learn more about leading and working collaboratively across organisational, professional and sector boundaries to improve healthcare and wellbeing for their population.


Mary Seacole Local Programme – Cohort 33

The Mary Seacole Local Programme has been designed to develop knowledge and skills in leadership and management for first time leaders supporting the Lincolnshire Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP). There is no charge to individuals or organisations for attendance at this nationally accredited leadership programme.

The Mary Seacole Local is for you if you’re:

  • Wanting to improve health and social care outcomes for the people of Lincolnshire through great leadership
  • In a ‘formal’ position of leadership with responsibilities for people and services
  •  Able to relate what you learn to your workplace

What you’ll experience:

The Mary Seacole Local programme is six months long with 100 hours of online study, plus three virtual behavioural workshops delivered locally by highly experienced and skilled leadership facilitators, drawn from across the Lincolnshire system.  You’ll have access to the Academy’s virtual campus, which includes programme films, interactive content, discussion forums and online resources.
